Biology of Aging: AA aims to explore and unravel the biological mechanisms underlying the aging process, with a focus on reporting on mechanistic issues in the field of tissue structure and functional behavior during cellular senescence, and the link between senescence and age-related diseases. Submissions addressing the molecular, cellular, and physiological aspects of aging, as well as investigations into the genetic and environmental factors influencing longevity, are highly encouraged.
Technological Innovations: The journal seeks to showcase advancements in technology that contribute to our understanding of aging or offer innovative solutions for promoting healthy aging. This includes but is not limited to studies on bioinformatics, data analytics, medical technologies, and interventions designed to enhance the quality of life in the elderly population.
Interdisciplinary Perspectives: AA recognizes the complex and multifaceted nature of aging. As such, the journal welcomes interdisciplinary research that bridges gaps between biology, medicine, psychology, sociology, and other related fields to provide a comprehensive understanding of the aging process.
Clinical Implications: The journal is dedicated to publishing research with direct relevance to clinical practice. This includes studies on age-related diseases, diagnostic tools, therapeutic interventions, and strategies for promoting healthy aging across diverse populations.
Aging Advances invites researchers, scholars, and practitioners to contribute their valuable work to further the collective understanding of aging and to ultimately improve the well-being of aging populations worldwide.
Readership: Readership cover the field of evolutionary biology, biophysics, genetics, genomics, proteomics, metabolomics, anatomy, histopoetics, molecular biology, cell biology, biochemistry, endocrinology, immunology, physiology, pharmacology, neuroscience, and psychology, and other related fields from basic and clinical research in the subject of aging research.
